Artist Statement.
Esoterica Collection.
Each piece in the collection was rendered in ball point on archival parchment paper. The collection explores celestial rhythms, poetic statements and surrealist meditative studies. Each piece started as pencil sketches and then were meticulously crafted in ball point. Each piece features thousands of line strokes.

Artist Biography.
Born 1980. Connecticut. Showed an aptitude for art from early ages 7+. What started as a love for history, fantasy, and marvel comic style illustration quickly turned into a challenge to draft any given piece with exacting precision in any medium. Explored all available art mediums while in High School, winning awards. Studied all available mediums and career path journeys in University. Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with a focus in Graphic Design from WCSU 2002. Now 20+ Years of daily practice in fine art and graphic arts. Currently working full time in his art studio as a work for hire artist and designer.

Illustrative study of the numerology listed in the description of solomon’s temple in the first books of kings. There was no solomon’s temple, it’s entirely a metaphor for the human and their mind is the inner sanctuary.

Illustrative study of the master yin yang and the sine wave, show casing the star of david in it’s key points in time. The piece explores the 12 houses of the zodiac and how the sun rises and falls with each season. The focal point being the place of harvest and the central axis of the entire piece. Showing how fertility and the harvest all come together on a timer to reveal several of the most ancient symbols.

Illustrative study of the native american tale of the world being displayed on the back of the turtle. The timer that imprinted this creature clearly functions along with the 13 moon cycles of the year. Each panel of it’s shell reveals a new season and gets a naming for each.

Illustrative study of the way life force is harnessed in the body, drawing in electrically charged breath and communing with that force. The waters of the body are then enriched by the chi filled ether as we breath in new life.

Typographic study of a bible verse. This verse provoked a response to capture it in lettering, it’s a verse that transcends secular dogma and ritual. It speaks to invoke a feeling about the time before time.

Typographic and illustrative study of a verse spread through native bush craft lore, speaking to the emotion you might bring with you on a hunt, of honor and love, but also of death and good fortune. The strawberry symbolizes a jewel of the native forest and a blessed find for the hungry hunter.
